What Is SEO?

When you use a search engine like google to search for something, it wants to display the most relevant search results for your queries. But in order to do so, it needs to know what each website is about so that i ranks the ones on top that are most relevant. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is meant to do that. SEO helps search engines know what’s on your page, so that it shows in more results. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a principle to follow when designing a website and the content for that website so that it is more likely to appear higher in search results.

For example, you have to get the ball in the net, in order to score a goal, but you can’t just pick it up and put it there. When you search for something on Youtube or instagram, the platforms follow some rules to see what videos or items are shown first. The amount you bid and the amount you pay for every click is an ongoing cost.
